Nevada CCW class in Pahrump – FULL

Class will start at 9:00 AM sharp.  8:30 – 9:00 is check in. The sooner you arrive the better seat you will have.

No children are allowed in class.

Please make sure you bring your gun unloaded and in your holster, your holster must cover the trigger and trigger guard. Have a belt that will support your gun and holster. 3 mags would be ideal and a mag holder. Make sure you have hearing protection and safety glasses. 30 rounds of ammo is needed for the qualification, 50 rounds is recommended and will give you extra to warm up and for other drills. Dress accordingly, we will be shooting no matter what the weather.

Shoulder holsters, ankle holsters or cross draw holsters will NOT be allowed.  We will supply you with a baseball cap that you may keep. A brimmed hat must be worn at the range.

Do not remove your gun from the holster until you are on the firing line and instructed to do so.

If you are unable to find ammo let me know the caliber you need and I may be able to supply you with it.

If you are shooting a new gun please go to YouTube and see how to clean it before the class.  Most of the problems we have at the range are new guns that have not been cleaned.

If you load your magazines the night before the class, it will save time on the range.

Please bring your government issued photo ID (IE: driver’s license).  Bring a lunch and water, you may eat lunch while the class is going. There is no designated lunch break.

The class is a minimum of 8 hours and includes shooting and a written test at the end.

Renewals and HR218 need to be at the shooting area on Bell Vista at 11:30 AM. Look for a Jeep pulling a trailer with 7-10 targets set up.  You are not required to attend the morning part of this class or take the written test.  HR218’s make sure you pick up the required paperwork from the Sheriff beforehand.

FYI, foul language will not be tolerated at my house or at the range.
